Hello, this is James Marland with the scaling therapy practice. I am here to let you know that sometimes you just got to. Admit defeat. It's about midnight here on this. October 1st. Welcome to October. And my, my podcast is supposed to. Launch season, season two episode, one of the scaling therapy practice. All about marketing. It's supposed to launch in about five hours. It's normally when I post it. And I was doing my final run through. With the video and audio. And I discovered some clips are out of order. And normally when I'm editing a podcast, it's just one audio file that I can maneuver and search through and find the right clips and get it, get it in order.
We are using a new program or I am using a new program to edit called a squad cast, which is amazing. Captures rate. Great quality audio. But it captures all the. Speaker's independently. And so I spent about two days. This last week learning the program and getting the, all the, all the files in order. And.
I was, I was doing my final run through tonight to post it. And I found some files were out of order and I just. I am unable to fix it easily. And what I'm probably going to have to do is go back to the beginning and start, start from scratch. Kind of scrap 16, 16 hours of work, figuring things out. And just Just start from the files all over again, because I'm in this. In this, with the new way of, of, of recording. It's not one file I have. Five files. I have four speakers. Plus a, a screenshare video that we're doing. Plus all the, all the music layers and all the transition layers, and then a couple text layers. So it it, it saddens me to say that I am not able to get the post out. It's probably gonna take me another day of work to get it completely done the way I want it to be done. And it's just not gonna, not gonna happen tonight, but sometimes you got to know. When enough is enough, because if I. If I finished it tonight. Ah, then I would be no good tomorrow and I have to. You know, clients and customers and things I got to do tomorrow, and I want to be good for them. So we're going to, we're going to hold off on the podcast, but it's gonna be great. I've, we've recorded three episodes so far. The first one is all, all of season two here for the scaling therapy practices, going to be on marketing. And we are doing a slightly different format instead of me and one guest or me, and Dr. David Hall. It's going to be myself as the host and I'll have a panel of therapists, business owners. I'm going to ask them about, to share their stories and advice and success and failures on the different aspects of marketing, their mental health practice. And so far, the first, the first three have been amazing. And I hope we get some audience participation where you send in your comments to James. At course creation studio.com. [email protected]. So I can incorporate real questions from people struggling with marketing. And present it to the panel who have had. These questions are similar questions as they go through. The next episode we're going to record is going to be on social media. So if you have social media questions, please send them in. I'd love to read them to the panel. And the episode after that is going to be on. I believe it is on li not lead magnets. Well, it's a form of lead magnet. It's going to be on webinars, like how to do webinars for your services. So that's going to be amazing because webinars are a great way to build an audience and to demonstrate value, but doing them effectively is a skill. So, we I think I, in the digital age where everybody's used to. Talking on zoom and talk it into a microphone and having some PowerPoint. I think. Learning how to do webinars would be amazing. It's going to have a handout. It's going to be at a checklist or a best practices or a worksheet. Those things are going to be there for you.
